Despite their appearance, Blemmya behave in mostly the same way that humans do. They are a nomadic people, and migrate all across northern Africa. There have been unsubstantiated reports of Blemmya populations in the Americas and India as well. Despite rumors to the contrary, Blemmya do not eat human flesh.

Blemmya excel in hunting and foraging in their home of northern Africa. They are stronger and more durable than a normal human. In addition, they have almost unmatched biting strength.
