The Bunyip is a creature with origins in Australian mythology, legend and folklore.

Appearance[]

Bunyips tend to have brownish-green, scaly skin, are covered in algae-like/underwater swamp plants-like fur, glowing green, reptilian eyes, fangs, gills on their necks, webbed hands and feet, claws, fins on arms, legs, and backs, and fins/ears.

Behavior[]

Bunyips generally are a very shy species, who prefer to keep to themselves, and rarely, if ever, leave their swamp homes. Bunyips are generally solitary by nature, but can and do mate for life. Bunyip children tend to stay with their parents until they are fully grown. When they are fully grown, they will go off to find their own swamps to claim as territory. Bunyips are carnivorous by nature, and prefer to hunt for and eat any creatures that share their swamps.
