Count Dracula or simply Dracula is the most well-known vampire character in fiction today. Originally the main character of Bram Stoker's book Dracula, he has since become recognised the world over and featured in many different forms of media as an icon of pop culture. Many aspects of Dracula's character were inspired by the 15th century Romanian general, Vlad III the Impaler.
Powers and abilities[]
- Immortality - Dracula can live in a dormant state for centuries without having to feed on people, though when he awakens from these long periods of slumber his bloodlust can be near insatiable.
- Levitation - Dracula can defy gravity to a degree.
- Shapeshifting - Dracula can assume the forms of various animals, most notably bats, dogs and snakes.
- Agility - The Count's movement and reflexes are well beyond the human norm.
- Strength - Dracula is said to possess the strength of twenty men.
- Psychic Powers - Dracula is capable of communicating telepathically and bending the minds of others to his will through hypnosis. He can also manipulate animals such as rats and bats.
- Weather Manipulation - Dracula is said to be capable of generating great clouds of fog to hide his presence and confuse his enemies. He can even transform his body into fog at will.
- Teleportation - Dracula can disappear and reappear in another location. The exact range of this power is unknown.
