Origins

The Gorilla is a creature with origins in Greek mythology. They were first documented by [en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Homer Homer], and later by Hanno the Navigator, a Carthaginian explorer of the time.

Three females of a tribe were captured on one of the Navigator's voyages, killed and brought back to Carthage for examination, before being on display some time in the same land, in a temple of Astarte.
