The Hippocampus is a creature with origins in Greek and Roman mythology, legend and folklore. And this mythological creature shared by Phoenician mythology either.

It is described as a half horse and half fish hybrid like creature which has a wings, seaweed-like mane and one horn. And also it has a rainbow colored tails too.
The real mythical creature could be based on seahorse or seadragon.
