Origins
The Valravn is a creature with origins in Danish folklore. In particular, accounts of their existence claim that valravne are created from when ravens eat the heart of men slain in battle.
Appearance
Behavior
As they are created in blood, their actions are the same. To take the form of a knight, a valravn must first devour the heart or drink the blood of a child. Valravne either take the child by force, or are promised it in exchange for help.
Abilities
Valravne are shapeshifters, but only after eating the heart of a child. In raven form, they can fly long distances at night. Ravens are already one of the smartest of all birds, but a valravn is smarter still, and it can use its intelligence to speak with, and even make contracts with humans.
